Developing story: Deputies arrest man after child injured, shooting, crashes in Broward
Authorities responded to a child injured, a shooting, and two crashes on Friday in Broward County. The crime scenes were in Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, and Coconut Creek and these were all related.
According to Veda Coleman Wright, a spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office, a child suffered a head injury at 4113 NW 88 Ave., in Coral Springs.
The shooting and crash followed at the corner of West Sample Road and Powerline Road in Pompano Beach, just near Deerfield Beach.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded. One person was injured.
Deputies also responded to a crash at the corner of Sample Road and Lyons Road in Coconut Creek. Deputies arrested a man there.
