SWAT team responds to home in Deerfield Beach
A suspect who is refusing to surrender to deputies barricaded himself inside a home on Monday in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
SWAT team deputies responded to a home about 9:32 a.m., near the intersection of Davie Boulevard and Southwest Eighth Avenue, according to Gerdy St. Louis, a BSO spokeswoman.
Deputies were there to serve a warrant, but the suspect refused to leave the home, according to St. Louis.
