Florida Keys deputy dog finds enough fentanyl to kill 3 people
Deputies reported Wednesday in the Florida Keys that Monroe Sheriff’s Office dog deputy Coral found enough fentanyl to kill three people.
Coral found the 6.1 grams of the synthetic opioid inside of the Dodge Ram that Cntory Phil Posada, of Big Coppitt Key, was driving on Tuesday night, according to deputies.
Deputies stopped Posada, 41, for following other drivers too close at about 7:30 p.m. in the Little Torch Key area, at mile marker 29 along the Overseas Highway.
Deputies arrested Posada and he was facing a trafficking charge.
